For teams who live in Slack and want to stay laser-focused on getting paid. With JustPaid, you can hook up your Slack workspace to get instant updates when customers pay (or don't). This guide walks you through how to set it all up—so you can keep your finger on the pulse of your AR, without ever leaving your favorite chat channel.

Access JustPaid Settings

Log in to JustPaid — Enter your credentials to access your account.

Navigate to Settings — Click on the Settings option in the main menu.

Locate Integrations

Go to Product Settings — Within the Settings menu, select the Product tab.

Access Integrations — Click on the Integrations section to view available options.

Set Up Notifications

Select Notifications — Within Integrations, choose the Notifications tab.

Connect to Slack — Click on the Connect button to initiate the integration process with Slack.

Create a Slack Channel for JustPaid Alerts

Open your Slack application and create a dedicated channel for payment alerts:

Click on the "+" icon next to Channels.

Select Create a Channel.

Name the channel (e.g., justpaid-alerts).

Set the channel to Private or Public based on your preference.

Click Create.

Tip

We recommend using a private channel if payment notifications contain sensitive financial information.

Obtain Slack Channel Email Address

Access Channel Settings — Navigate to the newly created channel and click on the channel name to open settings.

Find Integrations — Select the Integrations tab.

Get Channel Email — Click on "Send emails to this channel". Slack will generate a unique email address for the channel.

Copy this email address — You'll need it in the next step.

Link Slack Channel with JustPaid

Return to JustPaid Notifications — Go back to the Notifications section in JustPaid.

Enter Slack Channel Email — Paste the copied Slack channel email address into the provided field.

Save Integration — Click Save to finalize the connection between JustPaid and Slack.

Test the Integration

Trigger a Test Notification — Perform an action in JustPaid that would generate a notification (e.g., create a test invoice).

Verify Slack Alerts — Check the designated Slack channel to ensure the notification appears.

You're connected

If you see the test notification in your Slack channel, the integration is working correctly.
